Many Louisvillians and
out-of-town guests start their holiday season by attending the Old
Louisville Holiday House Tour. Participants tour eight Victorian homes
decorated in their holiday finery. House Tour guests will receive
one-dollar off the cost of touring the historic Conrad/Caldwell House at
the corner of St James & Magnolia. Browse the holiday gift shop, which
features unique wares of local artists and crafts persons. Free parking
and transportation are provided.

Hidden from the average
passerby are some of the best-kept secret gardens in Louisville. Many Old
Louisville residents are avid gardeners. Whether small or large, you will
be surprised and sometimes awed by the beautiful and often exotic gardens
found behind these Victorian walls. Visitors are invited to walk through
twelve select showcase gardens. The Garden Tour is held annually the
weekend following the Fourth of July, when gardens are at the height of
their summer glory. Refreshments and ice water are available at each

3:00pm-5:00pm. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy. |
The St. James Court Art
Show is one of the largest outdoor art shows in the country where over 650
fine arts and crafts people display and sell paintings, drawings,
sculptures, textiles, pottery, jewelry and much more. Held during the
first full weekend in October, the show features FREE admission, is held
rain or shine, and is located in the heart of historic Old Louisville.
